Key Responsibilities
- Conduct civil and structural tests such as soil compaction, moisture content, concrete slump, compression tests, bolt torque checks, and grade surveys
- Perform destructive and nondestructive testing on metals and materials including radiographic, dye penetrant, paint thickness, tension, and compression analyses
- Monitor underground piping works for bedding, tightness, slopes, and overall installation quality
- Inspect piling installation for location accuracy and bearing compliance
- Validate piping systems through P&ID checks, hydraulic tests, and pressure testing
- Inspect electrical installations to verify grounding, circuit integrity, and regulatory compliance
- Perform ongoing inspection of insulation and painting to ensure thickness consistency and coverage
- Conduct general inspection of construction labor and subcontractors to ensure workmanship aligns with project standards
- Verify alignment and balancing of equipment installations
- Support the development of quality control procedures and reports
- Participate in the development of health and safety practices and prepare associated reports
- Administer welder qualification tests when required
- Execute additional inspection duties based on project needs

Ideal Profile
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision, preferably within the UAE
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies for civil and utility projects
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and solve field-related issues
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and inspection processes relevant to roads and utilities projects
