Parsons is looking for an experienced and meticulousspan> Engineer- Dry Utilities (Design) to join the EMEA team! In this role, you will beb> responsible for supporting the design of major infrastructure projects./b> /span>

What You ll Be Doing:

• Perform design calculations and prepare engineering drawings for dry utilities (power, telecom, and related infrastructure), supporting senior engineers in day-to-day design tasks.

• Develop electrical engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and design documentation in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.

• Execute conventional and basic electrical engineering assignments, applying standard engineering theories, industry codes, and company procedures; utilize CAE/CAD tools to support design development and coordination.

• Provide technical input and guidance to CAD designers/drafters, reviewing drawings for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with design intent.

What Required Skills You ll Bring:

• Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in dry utilities network designs.

• Recent experience of HV, MV & LV electrical design to local and international standards.

• Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects understanding of the requirements for primary substations 132/11 kV, HV corridor, distribution /pocket substations, feeder pillars, MV systems up to 33kV, LV networks, calculations, and report writing skills.

• Must have thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code, IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA and IEC and various local authority standards in the GCC like DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, SEC, MEDC, Civil Defense, etc.

• Experience in civil 3D, Navisworks environment and BIM software.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Revit software, power systems design and analysis and building services.

• Prior Approval from DM / RTA.

• Registration with DEWA as an electrical engineer.
