Responsibilities:

• Receive instruction from Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead and prepare manufacturing drawings for customized non-standard products based on project requirement in accordance with Tender, Specification, Drawing delivery dates etc.
• Conduct Design Reviews on each step based on the Design Control Plan received from Project team.
• Keep a track and communicate BOM changes to Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead and relevant project team.
• Communicate effectively with the Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead with regards to some drawing and specification discrepancies to deliver quality drawings.
• Complete each Project design on or before estimated date.
• Adhere to H&S guidelines and policy of the company while in the factory and at the site.
• Print what is necessary and reduce the usage of paper.
• Forward the drawing to Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead to get drawing approval.
• Follow up with Design Manager / Mechanical Team Lead for pending inputs and make no assumptions.
• Prepare site measurement based on input received from Design Manager.
• At project close out
  • Maintain zero error in design.
  • Update drawing locations of working and output files properly to Design Manager.
• Adhere to Vertiv's HSE Policy
