Demonstrate sound judgment and self-sufficiency in problem-solving while serving as the administrative and operational resource for the hospital.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Intervene effectively in accounting and financial decision-making matters.
Oversee all aspects of financial accounting to ensure smooth, uninterrupted, and error-free operations.
Coordinate with the insurance department to minimize financial losses due to non-recoverable claims.
Ensure timely submission of all reports and deliverables.
Demonstrate strategic thinking by aligning operational processes with the hospital’s overall strategic plan.
Coordinate preparation of financial statements and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and sensitive administrative matters.
Promote a fair, unbiased, and apolitical administrative environment within the department.
Provide support during audit activities.
Perform duties as assigned by the Hospital Administrator and Head of Finance.
Carry out other related duties incidental to the role.
Comply with all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and infection control policies, standards, and procedures.
Work in accordance with documented OSH procedures and assigned responsibilities.
Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
Report OSH hazards, incidents, and near misses, and assist in risk assessments and incident reporting.
Comply with waste management policies and procedures.
Attend applicable OSH and infection control training programs, mock drills, and awareness sessions.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems.
Ensure workplaces under supervision are safe and free from health, safety, and environmental risks.
Ensure implementation of applicable HAAD and NMCRH OSHMS and infection control policies and standards.
Ensure adequate budget and resources for FMS, OSH, and PCI management.
Designate a Safety Facilitator responsible for coordinating departmental OSH activities.
Regularly discuss OSH matters in departmental and management meetings.
Ensure provision of OSH information, training, and supervision.
Implement and monitor the effectiveness of the risk management program.

Three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
MBA in Finance or CA qualification preferred
Minimum of two years’ experience in finance and accounting
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and financial software systems
