Job Title: Floor Manager – Food & Beverage Location: Dubai, UAE Reports To: Restaurant/Outlet Manager
Job Summary: The Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth front-of-house operations, delivering world-class guest experiences, and managing a multicultural team in accordance with Dubai’s hospitality standards and labor regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Supervise daily floor operations to maintain high standards of service and efficiency. Manage seating, reservations, and guest flow to optimize experience and revenue. Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Team Leadership & HR Compliance: Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, including wait staff, hosts, and bartenders. Conduct training sessions on service standards, health, and safety compliance. Manage staff schedules, attendance, and leave in line with UAE labor law. Ensure team adherence to company policies, UAE labor regulations, and health & safety standards.
Customer Service: Maintain high guest satisfaction by addressing complaints professionally and promptly. Monitor service quality, guest feedback, and implement improvements. Uphold hospitality standards expected in Dubai’s competitive F&B sector.
Financial & Administrative Duties: Oversee cash handling, billing, POS operations, and daily reconciliation. Monitor inventory, stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment. Assist in controlling operational costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and occupational safety regulations as per Dubai Municipality and Dubai Health Authority. Conduct regular inspections of the floor, service areas, and equipment. Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing regulations (if applicable). Key Competencies: Customer-centric approach and service excellence Leadership and team motivation Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving Ability to handle high-pressure situations Work Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic restaurant, café, or hotel F&B outlet. Requires prolonged standing and active movement on the floor. Note: All employment terms will comply with UAE Labour Law and company policies
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in F&B supervisory or managerial role, preferably in Dubai or GCC. Strong leadership skills and experience managing multicultural teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English is mandatory. Arabic is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and standard operating procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Preferred: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. Experience in upscale restaurants, hotels, or international F&B outlets.
