Vehicle Operation and Transportation

• Safe Driving: Operate heavy vehicles (as assigned) in a safe and responsible manner at all times, strictly adhering to UAE traffic regulations, company policies, and RTA guidelines.
• Logistics & Delivery: Transport construction materials (e.g., aggregates, sand, cement, rebar, asphalt), heavy machinery, and equipment between the company's yard, suppliers, and various construction sites.
• Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on traffic, road conditions, and site accessibility to ensure timely and scheduled deliveries.
• Loading & Unloading: Oversee and assist with the safe loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring materials are properly secured, balanced, and comply with weight and dimension limits.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, trip sheets, logbooks, timesheets, and fuel consumption records.

Safety and Compliance

• Vehicle Inspection (Pre-Trip/Post-Trip): Conduct mandatory daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle (e.g., tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, cargo securement) and report any defects, maintenance needs, or mechanical failures immediately.
• Site Safety: Follow all on-site safety protocols, including wearing required PPE, operating vehicles within designated speed limits, and ensuring clear communication with site safety officers and flagmen.
• Reporting: Promptly report all accidents, incidents, traffic violations, and mechanical breakdowns to the Transport Manager.

Vehicle Maintenance and General Support

• Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle's cabin and exterior.
• Minor Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., checking oil, water, tire pressure) and refuel the vehicle as required.
• Teamwork: Coordinate closely with the logistics team, dispatchers, site supervisors, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
