Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor (Female)
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager
Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently maintained. She supervises housekeeping staff, monitors work quality, manages inventories, and ensures all assigned areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision & Team Management
- Supervise housekeeping staff, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.
- Train new staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Conduct daily briefings and allocate work schedules.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback when needed.
2. Housekeeping Operations
- Inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Ensure proper usage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Handle special cleaning requests and resolve guest or resident complaints promptly.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per company policy.
3. Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor stock of cleaning materials, linens, and equipment.
- Prepare requisitions and ensure adequate supply availability.
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of chemicals and materials.
4. Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Report maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, repairs) to the concerned department.
- Conduct safety training and ensure staff follow PPE rules.
5. Reporting
- Prepare daily housekeeping reports.
- Maintain records of staff schedules, attendance, and cleaning checklists.
- Report discrepancies, lost & found items, and incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Female candidate (as per job requirement).
- Minimum high school diploma; vocational training is a plus.
- 2–5 years of housekeeping experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and chemicals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties when needed.

Proficiency in mulligan speaking preferable.
