The QHSE Manager is responsible for ensuring the compliance of all facility management activities with relevant QHSE regulations and standards. They play a vital role in developing and implementing effective QHSE management systems to address safety, environmental, and quality risks associated with facility operations.

Establishing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and practices to maintain a safe working environment within the facility.

Conducting regular QHSE audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards and taking necessary actions to mitigate them.

Creating and delivering QHSE training programs for facility management staff to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety within the facility.

Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure facility operations are in compliance with QHSE regulations.

Investigating accidents, incidents, near misses, or any other QHSE-related issues within the facility and developing corrective and preventive action plans.

Monitoring and reporting QHSE performance metrics to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and proposing corrective actions.

Managing internal and external QHSE audits, ensuring timely completion and implementation of audit recommendations.

Keeping up to date with changing QHSE regulations and industry best practices and advising management on necessary changes or improvements.

Collaborating with other departments, such as operations, maintenance, and human resources, to ensure effective QHSE integration throughout the facility.

Liaise with government / statutory authorities, alliance and strategic partners, existing and potential customers / clients, external agencies, certification bodies etc

Continually improve the company wide Business systems.(ISO 9001 14001 & OHSAS 45001)

Participate in the surveillance and recertification audits with External certification bodies for our existing ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 45001 certifications Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Develop and implement site-specific safety programs tailored to the unique risks of each project.

Lead safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they understand protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Monitor and analyze incident reports to identify trends and develop strategies for accident prevention.
