الأدوار والمسؤوليات

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection of faculty and staff.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the college environment.
  • Maintain updated employee records and personnel files.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for staff queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal college policies.

Performance Management

  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems for faculty and staff.
  • Assist managers in setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
  • Recommend training or development initiatives based on performance evaluations.

Training and Development

  • Identify staff training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Maintain records of training attendance and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits Administration

  • Assist in payroll coordination and ensure accurate implementation of salary adjustments, allowances, and benefits.
  • Provide guidance on leave management, entitlements, and other HR-related matters.

HR Policy Implementation and Compliance

  • Support the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with labor laws, accreditation standards, and internal regulations.

Reporting and HR Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports, including staff turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic HR decisions.

Any other tasks assigned by the Director of the department.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of higher education operations, faculty administration, and academic HR requirements.
  • Familiarity with HR software, payroll systems, and HR reporting tools.

Technical / Work-based Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills to manage multiple HR processes efficiently.
