ABOUT HELM8 helm8 is an AI operations consultancy helping UAE trading, logistics, and medical businesses eliminate manual back-office work. We build automations that run invisibly — so owners spend time on decisions, not spreadsheets. We are early stage and pre-revenue. Every intern who joins now works on real problems with real clients, not simulated exercises.

WHAT THIS INTERNSHIP IS

We are looking for one intern from each of the following backgrounds. You will work on different parts of the same mission — automating how UAE businesses operate. Your major determines what you work on, not what team you sit on. Everyone works together.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON — BY MAJOR

Business, Management, Finance, or Economics

– Run our operations assessment with prospective clients and document findings

– Research UAE trading and logistics companies — build lists of target businesses and decision makers

– Help produce scopes of work, process maps, and client-facing documents

– Assist with pricing analysis and service packaging

– Track deliverables across active client engagements

Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Engineering

– Build and test automations using Make, Zapier, or n8n under senior guidance

– Write Python scripts for data extraction and transformation from client systems

– Integrate with APIs — QuickBooks, Zoho, WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace

– Help build internal tools — dashboards, monitoring scripts, notification systems

– Test edge cases and failure modes before anything goes live with a client

Law, Legal Studies, or Compliance

– Research UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and map requirements to how we handle client data

– Review standard client agreements and flag data processing and liability clauses

– Build a compliance checklist for helm8 client onboarding

– Research free zone licensing for AI and technology consultancies in the UAE

– Help draft plain-English terms of service and privacy policy for helm8

Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Social Science

– Write LinkedIn posts and articles on behalf of helm8 — real case studies, not generic content

– Research target sectors — identify UAE trading companies, logistics firms, and key contacts

– Draft outreach messages for cold LinkedIn DM campaigns — short and specific

– Track content engagement and website traffic — what works, what does not

– Produce case study documents based on completed client engagements
