Logistics Coordinator AQUACHEMIE MIDDLE EAST FZE

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery for both local and export shipments. The role requires close collaboration with sales, operations, customers, and logistics service providers to maintain seamless supply chain operations while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Shipment Coordination

• Coordinate with logistics service providers to ensure prompt and efficient movement of shipments (local and export).

• Work closely with sales and operations teams to facilitate smooth shipment execution and provide required shipment-related information.

• Follow up on daily operational activities to ensure scheduled deliveries are completed on time.

• Handle special shipping arrangements as required based on business needs.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare customs documentation in coordination with customs brokers.

• Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with local shipping regulations and company policies.

• Coordinate with customers to confirm that all necessary permits and approvals are in place prior to dispatch.

Inventory & Dispatch Planning

• Monitor stock availability to support scheduled dispatches and promptly report any deviations or shortages.

• Support dispatch planning to avoid delays and optimize delivery timelines.

Customer & Vendor Coordination

• Maintain regular communication with customers by sharing shipping documents and providing shipment status updates.

• Collect acknowledged delivery notes from logistics service providers within the stipulated timeframe and upload them into SAP.

• Verify transporter invoices for accuracy before forwarding them for approval.

Reporting & Service Quality

• Prepare daily and periodic logistics reports for management review.

• Monitor service quality of logistics providers to ensure adherence to agreed standards and service levels.

• Identify operational gaps and escalate issues proactively to minimize disruptions.
