Fleet Management & Maintenance
Oversee the maintenance and servicing of heavy trucks and trailers to ensure operational readiness.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and manage breakdown/repair activities.
Maintain vehicle service records, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
Liaise with external workshops and service providers for repairs and maintenance contracts.
Licensing & Compliance
Ensure timely renewal of all vehicle registrations, permits, and licenses.
Monitor compliance with UAE traffic laws and transport regulations.
Manage insurance renewals and documentation for all fleet vehicles.
Traffic & Transport Coordination
Manage daily fleet movements and ensure smooth traffic operations.
Coordinate with the shipping department to plan trailer routes and optimize delivery schedules.
Arrange dispatch of drivers to ports for container collection and ensure timely turnaround.
Monitor route efficiency and implement improvements to reduce delays and costs.
Driver Supervision
Supervise and manage drivers’ daily activities and assignments.
Ensure drivers comply with safety standards, traffic laws, and company policies.
Monitor driver performance, attendance, and conduct.
Coordinate driver schedules, shifts, and leave planning.
Operational Support
Collaborate with internal departments (shipping, warehouse, procurement) to support logistics operations.
Address operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or route disruptions.
Maintain accurate reports on fleet utilization, maintenance costs, and traffic performance.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) and logistics software; certifications in relevant tools are a plus.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is essential for managing cross-border logistics.
