Job Title: Science Teacher (Grades 3–6)

Job Overview

Manthena American School is seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher for Grades 3–6 to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the American curriculum, inspire curiosity in young learners, and contribute to a positive learning environment. Candidates with UAE school inspection experience and those currently available in the UAE who can join immediately will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for Grades 3–6 following the American curriculum standards.

• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes scientific inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking.

• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities that support diverse learning styles.

• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.

• Integrate hands-on experiments and practical activities to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts.

• Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

• Support school initiatives and maintain compliance with UAE educational and inspection standards (e.g., ADEK, KHDA, or MOE requirements where applicable).

• Ensure classroom management and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Education (Science specialization preferred).

• Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an American curriculum school.

• UAE school inspection experience is highly desirable.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining will be given priority.
