Job PurposeOur Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team is responsible for conveying the essence of Emirates Group. Our team is pivotal in representing the attitudes, beliefs and goals of our organisation across the globe, both internally and with our customers alike!The role of Manager Digital Experience & Marketing Technology will be responsible for the Marketing technology strategy, ensuring our MarTech and AdTech ecosystem is world-class and future-ready, with the primary aim of effectively enabling business goals; driving revenue and addressing customer needs in line with their expectations and in line with the Emirates' Brand promise. The role holder will lead, direct and manage acquisition, implementation and adoption of Marketing technology across all marketing channels at the Emirates Group by managing a team of Marketing Enablement Specialists and external partners to support CCMB s platform, data, and operational needs, in collaboration with specialists across CCM&B & IT.In This Role, You WillDigital Experience, Content & Marketing Technology Strategy - Drive continuous improvement of customer, market and fare information from Emirates' enterprise systems to the digital marketing platform. Responsible for new technology selection and adoption, enabling & supporting CCMB key goals and KPI's.Digital Production Governance - Work with Digital and other stakeholders to establish and maintain an effective framework for content production & localisation. Responsible for digital content production strategy including approach, framework processes, tools and techniques.Production & Technology Delivery - Develop and deliver on technology roadmaps in support of digital goals and KPI, in close collaboration with Emirates IT Architecture and Head of Web & Mobile Delivery. Contribute to the ideation, prioritisation, road-mapping, design, and implementation of new features for Emirates and supported dnata and group brands.Innovation & Prototyping - Research digital technology and content management trends, identify opportunities, risks & challenges and share relevant insights with stakeholders. Identify and drive user experience and technology innovations. Influence stakeholders to obtain buy-in and collaborate with the technology and architecture teams to identify and leverage capabilities of technology and tools to drive product enhancements and optimisation.Business Improvement - Develop and implement effective tools, processes and working practices to improve team effectiveness and cost efficiency. Drive a culture of continuous optimisation and effective collaboration between CCM&B, IT and e-Commerce & Skywards, enabling rapid availability of incremental enhancements to customers.Vendor Management & Data Governance - Identify and develop relationships with suitable vendors / suppliers, providing required products and services for Emirates Group Digital and manage vendor relationships in terms of SLAs, costs, quality and effectiveness. Ensure external suppliers comply with Emirates' quality, delivery and operational standards.Team Management - Lead, manage, mentor and develop your direct reports, fostering a collaborative, high-performance, friendly and passionate team environment.Financial Management - Develop and manage budget for spend within your remit. Track and control spend and take corrective / preventive actions as necessary.QualificationTo be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements: A completed Master's Degree (12+4 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering preferred.10+ years experience in technical architecture, marketing technology integration, digital content management, content creation, and multi-channel digital delivery platforms in a global organization or Digital AgencyKnowledge/skillsProven experience with operating and managing business critical systems, in particular large commercially driven web sites and mobile applicationsExperience in aviation and / or travel related industry (preferred)Knowledge and understanding of aviation & travel technologies (preferred)Experience with large scale / enterprise level projectsProven leadership experience managing both technical teams, business users and content management teamsExperience with new generation Web platforms & standards including HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS 3, CI/CD, usability and accessibilityExtensive experience with modern service-oriented delivery architectures, virtualized deployment platforms and scalable deployment architectures.Experience with A/B testing, personalisation and targeting at scaleUnderstanding of Content Management systems and localization; SDL Tridion / WorldServer would be a benefitAbility to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including EVP/DSVPsAt Emirates, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.
