About the Role

Alghanim International is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our team for one of our villa development projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise in MEP systems and hands-on experience coordinating works on villa or residential building projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEP activities (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) across the project.
• Review and verify MEP drawings, technical submissions, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Follow up on authority approvals (DEWA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Ensure MEP works are executed as per project specifications, standards, and timeline.
• Identify and resolve coordination issues between MEP and civil/architectural works.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress updates.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in MEP coordination.
• Proven experience working on villa projects or high-end residential developments in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and authority requirements.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work under tight timelines.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (mandatory).
• Additional certifications in MEP, project coordination, or construction management are an advantage.
