Role Summary

This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with technical experience in forklift repair and material handling equipment (MHE). The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining MHE systems while ensuring operational safety and efficiency in the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts and other MHE equipment
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate diagnostic tools
* Maintain detailed records of parts usage, repairs, and inventory
* Operate basic diagnostic software and update service logs accurately
* Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in working condition and safety standards are followed
* Support operational uptime by minimizing equipment downtime through prompt service
* Coordinate with supervisors for maintenance planning and urgent repairs

Candidate Requirements

* Diploma or vocational certification in mechanical/electrical trade
* Minimum 3 years of experience in MHE or forklift maintenance
* Basic troubleshooting knowledge of hydraulic systems, leaks, and wiring
* Physically fit to work in active warehouse environments
* Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic software
* Clear and decent communication skills
