The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) was established by federal decree in 2007. The Centre monitors atmospheric and seismic changes, provides meteorological and seismic engineering services to all sectors in accordance with applicable laws, and facilitates the exchange of meteorological and seismic data regionally and internationally in line with scientific progress and ongoing research.
