Obegi Chemicals Group is a chemical distribution company established in 1905, operating across the Middle East and Africa. The group represents international chemical suppliers and serves multiple industry sectors including coatings, construction, polyurethane, personal and home care, pharmaceuticals, human and animal nutrition, and oil and gas. Operations are structured across three business divisions: Fine Chemicals, Performance Chemicals, and Infrastructure Solutions. In 2010, the group launched the Alexandria Chemicals Terminal (ALXCT) in Egypt in partnership with the Fahmy family, establishing a bulk chemicals terminal on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt to support manufacturing and distribution activities in the MENA region.
