Checks the plants condition by the operation system to ensure safety of the plant.

Takes measurements of the amperes to find out if the motors are functioning properly according to the load. Takes readings of flow, Pressure, temperature, conductivity, chlorine, PH and Levels of the parameters regularly and records it in the log sheet.

Take a sample of water from the local plant areas to carry out tests of ph, iron, SDI and conductivity regularly and records it in the log book to ensure that the water supplied is suitable for membrane. Carries out water distribution by pumping water to other areas to maintain a level in the storage tanks.

Monitors from Control room/Operator working station the chemical dosing systems by monitoring the tanks level and detecting for any tank leakage to ensure it is functioning normally. Carries out from CR/Operator Working Station filter and membrane chemical cleaning.

Monitors and Performs from CR/OWS chemical treatment for the Reverse Osmosis unit/ membrane to reduce Delta pressure. Ensures that emergency situations/breakdowns are attended to immediately and appropriately and informs Operation Supervisor to receive instructions.

Record all events and related activities in the logbook. Calculate and report the daily production, power, and consumable consumption.

Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the supervisor and senior engineer

WORK RELATIONS & CONTACTS

• Has daily contacts with the Supervisor to receive work directions, discuss/ resolve issue, guidance and approval.

• Have daily contacts with Colleagues to receive work directions, exchange information, discuss/ resolve issues, and work coordination.

ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ACTIONS & IMPACTS

• Accountable for carrying out operations of Reverse Osmosis plants in remote area site taking into consideration all safety measures as per safety standards and procedures.

• Works according to well defined procedure and craft or clerical standard.

• Work is reviewed upon completion of short assignments.
