Planning Manager – High-Rise Building Projects Job Summary :

The Planning Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling high-rise building projects from pre-construction through completion. The role ensures effective project scheduling, progress tracking, delay analysis, and reporting in coordination with project teams, consultants, and clients.

Develop and maintain baseline, detailed, and recovery construction schedules for high-rise buildings.

Prepare master programs, short-term look-ahead schedules, and resource-loaded programs.

Monitor project progress and update schedules using Primavera P6.

Identify critical paths, risks, and potential delays; propose mitigation and recovery plans.

Perform delay analysis and EOT claims (impacted as-planned, time impact analysis).

Coordinate with project managers, construction managers, and engineers for planning inputs.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

Track manpower, materials, and equipment against the approved program.

Support tender planning, method statements, and sequencing for high-rise construction.

Ensure planning compliance with contract requirements and FIDIC conditions.

Attend progress meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Assist commercial teams with claims, variations, and productivity analysis.
