1. Production Planning & Workflow Management

• Plan and manage daily production activities for joinery, carpentry, and finishing works.

• Review project drawings, BOQs, and material lists to prepare production schedules.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Prioritize urgent site requirements and adjust schedules accordingly.

  
  

2. Joinery & Fit‑Out Production Oversight

• Supervise fabrication of doors, wardrobes, cabinets, counters, wall cladding, furniture, and custom joinery items.

• Ensure all items are produced as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.

• Monitor assembly, sanding, polishing, painting, and finishing processes.

  
  

• 3. Quality Assurance

• Conduct quality checks at every stage—cutting, assembly, finishing, and pre‑installation.

• Ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.

• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions before dispatch.

  
  

. Material & Inventory Control

• Monitor stock levels of timber, MDF, veneers, laminates, hardware, adhesives, and finishing materials.

• Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling to prevent damage or wastage.

  
  

  5. Workforce Supervision & Team Leadership

• Manage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, painters, and helpers.

• Assign tasks based on skill level and project priority.

• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity.

• Provide training on machines, tools, and safety procedures.

  
  

6. Machine & Equipment Management

• Oversee operation and maintenance of joinery machines (panel saw, CNC, edge bander, spindle moulder, sanding machines, etc.).

• Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.

• Ensure operators follow correct machine‑handling and safety protocols.

  
  

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and designers for updates and clarifications.

• Prepare daily/weekly production reports and progress updates for management.

• Highlight delays, material shortages, or manpower requirements.

  
  

8. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety rules and ensure all workers use PPE.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free factory environment.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.

  
  

9. Logistics, Packing & Dispatch

• Oversee packing, labeling, and loading of finished joinery items.

• Ensure safe transportation to site without damage.

• Coordinate with site teams for installation readiness.

  
  

10. Continuous Improvement

• Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Implement lean manufacturing practices where possible.

• Encourage innovation in production techniques and material usage.
