Job Description — Interior Design (ID) Fit-Out Manager

1. Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit-out projects from design coordination stage through procurement, installation, snagging, and final handover.

2. Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure technical feasibility, buildability, and compliance with project requirements.

3. Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and contractors to resolve design clashes and site coordination issues.

4. Prepare and monitor detailed project programs, track milestones, and ensure works are completed within approved timelines.

5. Manage subcontractors, installers, and specialist vendors including joinery, metal, glass, and finishes packages.

6. Oversee procurement schedules and material submittals to ensure approvals are obtained before manufacturing and installation.

7. Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship quality and adherence to approved shop drawings and mock-ups.

8. Enforce HSE standards on site, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with local regulations.

9. Review method statements and risk assessments prior to commencement of site activities.

10. Monitor site progress daily and provide periodic progress reports to management and client stakeholders.

11. Coordinate logistics, material deliveries, storage, and protection of installed finishes and completed works.

12. Manage snagging, de-snagging, and quality inspections prior to consultant and client inspections.

13. Ensure proper installation sequencing with civil and MEP works to avoid rework and damage to finishes.

14. Track variations, additional works, and scope changes; maintain records to support commercial and contractual claims.

15. Liaise with commercial team for cost control, budget monitoring, and valuation of completed works.

16. Ensure preparation and submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and handover documentation.

17. Resolve site technical issues related to joinery, doors, cladding, decorative panels, and architectural finishes.

18. Conduct coordination meetings and maintain communication with client representatives and project stakeholders.

19. Supervise testing, commissioning interfaces, and ensure spaces are ready for operational use.

20. Support final project close-out including final account coordination, defect liability monitoring, and post-handover rectifications.
