Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly driven QA Lead to join our growing team at Bamboo Card. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the QA function, designing robust testing frameworks, managing QA engineers, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires technical expertise, leadership ability, and a collaborative mindset to ensure efficient and scalable QA processes across all stages of product development.

• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring skill development across manual and automated testing.

• Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA strategies covering functional, performance, and automation testing across all products.

• Drive the development and maintenance of robust UI automation frameworks using Cypress (mandatory).

• Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts using tools like Postman, Swagger, and TestRail.

• Ensure thorough API testing and automation, promoting reliability and scalability of backend integrations.

• Manage performance testing efforts using JMeter, Blazemeter, or K6 to identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance.

• Utilize SQL for backend validation, data accuracy checks, and database integrity testing.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

• Take ownership of defect tracking and resolution in JIRA, ensuring issues are logged clearly and addressed promptly.

• Provide clear and regular reporting on QA metrics, risks, and quality trends to stakeholders and leadership.

• Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in QA practices.

• 5 7 years of experience in web application testing, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership or senior role.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and industry best practices.

• Hands-on experience with UI automation testing using Cypress is mandatory.

• Proficient in tools such as Postman, Swagger, TestRail, and JIRA.

• Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Blazemeter, K6).

• Strong SQL skills for backend testing and data validation.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and proactive attitude.
