✅ Roles & Responsibilities – Quality Controller (Plastic Manufacturing)

• Inspect incoming raw materials (HDPE, additives, masterbatch) to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Monitor blow molding and injection molding processes to maintain consistent product quality

• Perform in-process and final inspections for IBC tanks, drums, jerry cans, and buckets

• Conduct leak tests, drop tests, and stacking/load tests to ensure product durability and safety

• Verify dimensions, wall thickness, weight, and capacity as per specifications

• Check caps, lids, closures, and sealing performance for proper fitting and leak-proof quality

• Identify and report defects such as cracks, bubbles, warping, or uneven thickness

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, QC records, and checklists

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company quality procedures

• Handle non-conformance reports (NCR) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and coordinate with production team for improvements

• Monitor rejection rates and take actions to reduce wastage

• Ensure products meet customer specifications and export requirements

• Support internal and external quality audits

• Approve products for final dispatch after quality clearance
