Saint-Gobain, headquartered in Paris, operates in more than 68 countries. In the Middle East, it began trading as Gyproc in 2005, with its first plasterboard manufacturing plant opening in Abu Dhabi in April 2010 to serve the entire region. Gyproc products have been used on landmark projects including Dubai Metro stations, Atlantis Hotel on Palm Jumeirah, Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, and Masdar Institute.
