Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Commercial Leadership: -

  • Develop, implement, and lead end-to-end sales strategy for freight, logistics, and sector portfolios, covering both B2B and B2C customer segments.

  • Set and execute annual and quarterly commercial targets with accountability for revenue, market share, and profitability goals.

  • Lead strategic pricing, proposal development, and contract negotiation processes with major enterprise and government clients.

  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing high-value accounts.

Customer & Market Engagement:

  • Serve as the principal face of in customer engagements, defining solution-based approaches for freight forwarding, logistics contracts, warehousing, and cross-border shipping services.

  • Lead market analysis, competitor research, and intelligence reporting to inform strategic positioning and go-to-market decisions.

  • Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, trade shows, and high-level stakeholder meetings to strengthen brand equity and commercial networks.

Sales Execution & Operations:

  • Manage both direct sales teams and channel partners to ensure high performance against KPIs and seamless delivery of customer commitments.

  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, pricing, CRM, and digital teams to ensure the sales value proposition is effectively executed from lead generation to service delivery.

  • Oversee CRM pipeline reporting, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

B2B & B2C Sales Coverage:

  • Drive B2B commercial growth with large corporates, government entities, 3PL/4PL providers, manufacturers, and strategic accounts across target verticals (pharma, oil & gas, industrial materials).

  • Lead B2C engagement strategies where applicable (e.g., large logistics customer segments, e-commerce delivery partners, consumer freight solutions) with tailored value propositions.

  • Build strategies for customer segmentation, retention, and expansion in both B2B and B2C contexts to maximise lifetime customer value.

Essential Competencies & Skills:

  • Industry & Commercial Acumen: Deep knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics services (air/sea/land), and supply chain solutions, including global freight principles and UAE market dynamics.

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to lead sales teams, drive performance, and coach high-performing commercial professionals.

  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Ability to engage with C-Suite executives, government officials, and strategic customers with credibility and influence.

  • Analytical & Market Insight: Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, competitor behaviour, and customer data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for internal leadership and external client engagements.

Experience & Qualifications (Market-Aligned):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline. MBA or professional sales certifications are preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive sales experience with at least 5 years in senior sales management or leadership roles within freight forwarding, logistics, trade & freight services, or related industries.

  • B2B & B2C Exposure: Demonstrated track record in both enterprise (B2B) sales and broader market (B2C) engagement strategies, including government and multinational accounts.

  • Sector Knowledge: Exposure to target industries such as logistics providers (ports, freight operators), pharma supply chains, oil & gas services, materials, and F&B distribution ecosystems.

  • Commercial Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, negotiating large contracts, and driving business growth in competitive markets.
