Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Reporting:
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions.
Tax and Compliance:
• Sound knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
• Prepare and review tax reports with statutory law and financial regulations
• Assist in liaising with tax consultants for timely filing of applicable taxes
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Treasury:
• Handling all banking transactions processing and manage local banking relationships
• Set up an audit track for project related payments: keep project contracts, execute the payments
to project contractors and report to Finance Manager if any discrepancy occurs.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against the budget, highlighting variances.
Audit
• Assist in external audit process
• Prepare reconciliation/sample information for external auditors
The senior accountant supports the Finance Manager in managing all financial aspects of the
solar plant project, ensuring effective financial management, compliance, and reporting.

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Big 4 or related industry background
• Experience in Similar Sector (Infra, Construction, Energy etc) is a plus
Minimum Education
Requirements
• Master’s Degree related to Accounting / Finance / Economics
• Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent professional accounting
qualification
