Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical guidance and daily coordination with engineering, production, and digital delivery teams
* Support junior BIM and CAD staff with modeling techniques, workflows, and standards
* Utilize Civil 3D, Dynamo, and other modeling tools for highway design packages
* Work with Digital Design and Delivery Leads to achieve full compliance with project processes and digital requirements
* Develop and review engineering drawings including layouts, assemblies, sections, and isometric views
* Manage BIM activities from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to LOD requirements and modeling standards
* Create parametric and non-parametric BIM content and families
* Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, QA/QC compliance, and production standards
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve coordination issues and ensure model consistency
* Use Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection, clash reporting, and model coordination
* Extract quantities, schedules, and design information directly from BIM models
* Maintain a strong understanding of Common Data Environment platforms including ProjectWise, BIM360, and ACC
* Contribute to training material development and support digital capability building across the team
* Perform additional BIM and CAD responsibilities as required

Ideal Profile

* Diploma in civil engineering with minimum 20 years of experience, or bachelor s degree with minimum 15 years of experience
* Strong command of AutoCAD and solid experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
* Knowledge of Dynamo, Navisworks, Openroads, MicroStation, and digital design tools
* Very good understanding of BIM processes, LOD requirements, and digital project workflows
* Experience using Common Data Environment platforms such as ProjectWise and BIM360 or ACC
* Strong capability to supervise BIM Modelers and BIM Analysts
* Excellent understanding of advanced modeling techniques and engineering principles
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
* Good track record producing high-quality models and technical drawings for major highway projects
