Senior Buyer (Import)- FMCG Life Pharmacy LLC

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International / Import Buyer to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of FMCG products from global markets. The role involves working closely with international suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely availability of quality products at competitive prices while complying with local import regulations in the United Arab Emirates and GCC region.

Key Responsibilities

International Sourcing & Procurement

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers across key sourcing markets such as India, China, Turkey, and Europe

• Source a wide range of FMCG products including food, beverages, personal care, and household items

• Maintain updated supplier database and product portfolio

Supplier Management & Negotiation

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQs, and contracts with suppliers

• Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships

• Monitor supplier performance (quality, lead time, reliability)

Import & Logistics Coordination

• Manage end-to-end import process including purchase orders, shipping, and delivery timelines

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and clearing agents

• Ensure proper documentation (Invoice, Packing List, COO, Bill of Lading, etc.)

• Handle Incoterms such as FOB, CIF, EXW

Planning & Inventory Management

• Collaborate with sales and demand planning teams to forecast product requirements

• Ensure optimal stock levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking

• Monitor inventory turnover and aging stock

Market & Product Analysis

• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demand

• Identify new product opportunities and categories

• Recommend product assortment strategies

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all imported products meet UAE regulatory requirements (labeling, shelf life, halal compliance where applicable)

• Work with regulatory authorities for product approvals if required

• Maintain quality standards and product consistency
