Job Purpose

The Senior Executive - Online Sales will be responsible for managing relationships with key online retail partners, driving sales growth, and ensuring the optimal presentation and positioning of our home appliance products on these platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce sales, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the UAE online retail market.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key online retail partners.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all online retail accounts in the UAE.

  • Coordinate with retailers to ensure the best possible presentation of products on their platforms.

  • Drive sales and revenue growth through online channels, develop and implement sales strategies to achieve online sales targets, and manage the budgeted Gross Profit (GP).

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, and adjust strategies as necessary.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that align sales initiatives with the overall brand strategy.

  • Collaborate with various teams, such as marketing, logistics, customer service, and accounts, to oversee inventory levels, product availability, and pricing, ensuring they are aligned with sales objectives.

  • Plan and execute online promotions and campaigns in collaboration with retail partners.

  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities to optimize future campaigns.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to understand consumer trends and the competitive landscape.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks and activities that support the strategic plans set by higher management.

  • Analyze market data to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance, and present these findings to senior management

  • Report resource needs and shortages to higher management to ensure project continuity.

  • Provide updates on goal progress, ensuring alignment with team and corporate objectives.

  • Engage in improvement discussions, implementing feedback to enhance performance and support team success.

  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics, ensuring alignment with department and corporate goals.

  • Supervise and support team members, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.

  • Identify any training or development requirements of employees, communicate job expectations, coaching and monitoring employee performance to accomplish marketing and sales objectives.

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse data to prepare detailed reports on team performance and project status for senior management review.

  • Generate and submit regular operational reports on specific tasks and projects to middle management, highlighting key performance metrics and progress updates.

  • Participate in opportunities to enhance job-specific skills and knowledge, aiding personal and organizational growth.

  • Collaborate with sales, logistics, marketing, and other departments to meet key account needs

  • Support change initiatives by communicating changes to frontline staff and providing feedback.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, online sales, or a similar role.

  • Proven experience in e-commerce sales, preferably within the home appliances sector

Educational Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools
