Key Responsibilities

* Update, maintain, and enhance geospatial databases to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with project requirements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver spatial data, analysis, and insights that support informed decision-making
* Create, review, and maintain digital GIS maps for varied project needs
* Prepare system and database reports, checklists, and documentation with appropriate oversight
* Develop custom GIS applications and tools to address spatial challenges
* Assist with installation, configuration, and management of enterprise GIS portals and server environments
* Implement spatial database designs and data models for efficient querying and analysis
* Define data types, relationships, constraints, and indexes to optimize performance
* Perform advanced editing, digitizing, and geoprocessing to convert data and analyze geospatial information
* Support GIS implementation and management plans at program and project levels
* Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members
* Respond to client queries and support internal coordination across departments
* Contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery and perform additional duties as required

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
* Minimum seven years of relevant professional experience
* Strong understanding of GIS fundamentals with CAD and BIM awareness
* Proven experience in spatial database design, data models, and geoprocessing workflows
* Experience supporting GIS implementation across large-scale programs

Skills Set

* Proficiency with GIS software, databases, workflows, troubleshooting, and system capabilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in geospatial contexts
* Knowledge of QA and QC practices, data management standards, and geoprocessing techniques
* Experience with web services, mobile GIS applications, and FME-based data transformation
* Ability to automate tasks and perform complex analyses using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
* Demonstrated cartographic design skills and production of scaled maps
* Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders
