Senior Manager – Infra Projects DUBAI PROPERTIES GROUP LLC

Monitor projects, time frames, costs involved for the infrastructure development of Master Communities and prepare project plans within approved project parameters. Lead technical discussions with team and consultants to finalize project specifications in area of specialization.

Define roads and utilities requirements including water, sewage, waste management, drains, and telecom networks to be completed for the infrastructure development projects and ensure the delivery of roads and utilities and services as per the defined criteria.

Prepare budgets (as required) for projects on a monthly and annual basis via the prepared business plan; forecast revenues and profitability by projecting varied business cases submitted and manage Projects Variations for all infrastructure projects including preparation of RFC (Request for change).

Liaise with the Government Authorities (e.g. RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Telecom, providers and other agencies) to understand all regulatory components that need to be factored in and obtain necessary approvals and follow up for roads, utilities, district cooling and telecom services.

Review work related to Master Community Infrastructure and telecom networks, preliminary drawings, detailed drawings, and related calculations submitted by the team and consultants.

Participate in tender evaluation process, revisions and cost estimates for all infrastructure project components and work closely with consultants to make suitable modifications during the tendering phase.

Obtain technical specifications, drawings, documents prepared by consultants and maintain project documentation; provide technical clarifications to contractors when required.

Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor and inspect the work progresses in all infrastructure and utilities to ensure that all are being implemented as per approved plans.

Keep track of all civil engineering related issues, root causes, and corrective actions recommended / taken to ensure closure in a timely manner; and ensure the Section Head and other executive management, as appropriate, are informed of significant architectural issues that may jeopardize the achievement of the projects time/budget.

Oversee and track all variances/deviations in budgets related to all infrastructure activities vs. actual expenses and recommend corrective action to minimize such variations.

Provide inputs and suggestions for the continuous improvement of departmental/section practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans in line with company objectives.
