Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet performance and quality expectations.
  • Contract Negotiations: Assist in negotiating contracts, including terms, pricing, and service level agreements, to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor vendor performance, assessing adherence to contractual obligations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any vendor-related issues.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure vendors comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining updated records of compliance status.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to understand their needs and communicate relevant vendor-related information.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report data on vendor performance, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in vendor relationships and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and vendor performance assessment.
    • Ability to handle conflict and resolve issues effectively.
    • Familiarity with contract management and procurement software.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong vendor relationships.
  • Analytical mindset to assess vendor performance metrics.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle vendor issues diplomatically and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
