Role Overview: The Warehouse Operations Assistant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse dedicated to the storage, handling, and distribution of chemical products. This role requires ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards while managing inventory, logistics, and team leadership

Warehouse Operations Assistant

• Assist with managing day-to-day Warehouse Operations, focusing on the safe and efficient storage and movement of chemical products.

• Oversee the receipt and dispatch of materials, ensuring compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.

• Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety.

  2. Inventory Management:

• Accurately track inventory levels

• Maintain accurate stock records and update stock control (Tally) software records as required regarding all receipts and dispatches and internal movements including issue of raw materials and receipt of finished goods to and from Production Units.

• Conduct routine stock audits.

• Ensure compliance with storage requirements for chemical products.

  3. Health, Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce adherence to safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, and GHS standards.

• Maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure employee training on hazardous materials.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Conduct and document daily Safety / Toolbox meetings.

4.Housekeeping:

• Ensure regular cleaning schedules for floors, shelves, and workspaces to maintain hygiene and prevent accidents.

• Keep aisles, exits, and work areas free of obstructions. A clutter-free environment enhances safety and productivity.

• Maintain proper waste segregation, disposal, and recycling to maintain a clean and eco-friendly workspace.

• Promptly address any cleaning up spills to prevent slips and falls.

• Regular inspections and treatments to keep pests at bay, ensuring they don't damage goods or create health hazards.

  5.Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with logistics teams for the transportation and delivery of chemical products.

• Monitor shipments for compliance with hazardous materials standards.

• Oversee packaging and labeling for safety and compliance.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation for all chemical shipments
