What s On Your Plate?
- Own and manage a portfolio of Cakes & Sweets partners, driving their commercial growth and overall performance on the Talabat platform.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with partners and act as a trusted advisor to help grow their business through strategic planning and data-driven insights.
- Develop and execute joint business and marketing plans with partners to grow sales, improve conversion rates, and increase average basket size.
- Identify and unlock revenue opportunities by driving adoption of Talabat ecosystem solutions including NCR programs, AdTech visibility tools, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Analyze performance data, dashboards, and marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities, diagnose challenges, and inform strategic decisions.
- Drive partner investment in promotional and marketing initiatives while ensuring strong return on investment and measurable business impact.
- Represent Talabat professionally in all external engagements while building trusted partnerships with key decision makers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to deliver campaigns, resolve issues, and continuously improve partner performance.
- Maintain full ownership of portfolio performance end-to-end, ensuring partners are set up for long-term success and sustainable growth on the platform.Qualifications
What Did We Order?
- 5 7 years of professional experience in account management, sales, business development, or commercial roles,
- 2 3 years of experience working with restaurants, bakeries, caf s, sweets brands, viral brands, or home-grown food concepts, with a strong understanding of the F&B landscape, customer demand dynamics and the fast-moving Q-commerce ecosystem.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven sales experience, with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, evaluate ROI on marketing and promotional investments, negotiate effectively, and drive partner investment in promotions, visibility solutions, and Talabat ecosystem tools.
- Highly data-driven, comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, and performance metrics to analyze trends, diagnose challenges, and inform strategic decisions.
- Consultative and strategic mindset, able to act as a trusted advisor to partners by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing commercial performance, and building long-term business plans.
- Strong ownership mindset, treating the portfolio like their own business, taking full accountability for results, and proactively driving improvements across sales, conversion, basket size, and customer experience.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, make sound commercial decisions confidently, and take full responsibility for outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships with partners while representing Talabat with professionalism, honesty, and transparency.
- Creative, well-organized, and execution-focused, able to manage multiple priorities, solve problems proactively, and consistently deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Role Summary
We are looking for an Account Manager - Local Shops to join our team in Dubai and be part of our growth. You will be responsible for the commercial performance and growth of a portfolio of Cakes & Sweets partners on the Talabat platform. This role owns the partner relationship end-to-end, working closely with vendors to drive sales growth, optimize performance and maximize their success within talabat s ecosystem.
The role combines strategic account management, consultative selling, and data-driven decision making. You will also act as a trusted consultant to partners by developing business plans, identifying growth opportunities and leveraging talabat s marketing, promotional, and AdTech solutions to scale partner performance.
Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, ownership and the ability to operate in a fast-paced Q-commerce environment while consistently delivering measurable business impact.
