Job Title: Accountant – Construction Industry

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our construction company in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting the financial operations of ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Monitor project budgets and costs

• Prepare invoices and follow up on payments

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations in the UAE

• Assist in audits and financial reviews

• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience (preferably in construction industry)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction/project-based accounting

• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
