Accountant

General Accounting

• Record, classify and reconcile accounting entries (purchases, sales, bank, cash, salaries).
• Keep accounting journals and balances up to date.
• Ensure the reconciliation of customer, supplier and bank accounts.
• Perform monthly and annual closing operations.
• Participate in the preparation of the balance sheet and the income statement.

Cash management

• Monitor daily cash flow.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Supporting the financial manager in monitoring cash flow forecasts.

Taxation and tax returns

• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly tax returns (IRG, TAP, VAT, IBS, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with tax and parafiscal deadlines.
• Participate in monitoring relations with the tax authorities.

Accounts payable and receivable

• Verify that the supporting documents are in order.
• Establish supplier payments and monitor customer receipts.
• Managing payment reminders in case of late payment.

Reporting and control

• Produce periodic accounting and financial dashboards.
• Analyze discrepancies and contribute to the improvement of internal procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

Required skills: Technical

• Solid knowledge of general, analytical and tax accounting.
• Good understanding of Algerian accounting standards.
• Ability to prepare a balance sheet and produce financial statements.
