Accounts Payable Clerk

Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the responsibilities and essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Use the Information System and accounting software to create, track and update the various accounting records;
• Update the accounts payable database;
• Participate in accounting operations to ensure correct recording of information according to accounting principles and established standards;
• Participate in the revision of the Ledger;
• Coordinate month-end closings;
• Prepare reports for the line manager;
• Monitor internal departmental controls;
• Ensure that payments are correct and paid on time;
• Prepare the various financial reports for the Financial Controller;
• Reconcile bank statements with the different banks;
• Justify cash flow discrepancies and make adjusting entries;
• Checks the value dates;
• Monitored bank charges;
• Allocate bank transactions;
• Attend month-end closings;
• Analysis and justification of accounts;
• Taxation: Assisting with declarations: Business Tax, Registration Fee, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, TDB, TPT, TC, ETC ...;
• Compliance with Accor Hotels standards and procedures;
• Other tasks as assigned.
