Task/ Job Summary

The Android Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for Android devices. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless and user-friendly app experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and modern mobile development best practices.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
• Implement responsive, adaptive, and modern UI following Android design guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug, profile, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, libraries, and best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK.br
• Experience with Coroutines and reactive programming (Flow, LiveData).br
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.br
• Strong knowledge of MVVM architectural design pattern.br
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party library integration.br
• Knowledge of Android lifecycle, navigation components, and state management.br
• Proficient with Git version control system.br
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.br
• Experience with Room, WorkManager, and Jetpack libraries.br

Nice to Have

• CI/CD experience for Android apps.
• Published apps on Google Play Store
