1. Site Execution and Supervision

• Work Inspection: Conduct regular and thorough inspections of all ongoing architectural activities, including blockwork, plaster, tiling, flooring, false ceilings, cladding, waterproofing, painting, and interior finishes.
• Compliance: Ensure that all construction works are executed in strict compliance with the project's contract drawings, specifications, scope of work, approved shop drawings, and quality control procedures.
• Coordinate Installation: Supervise and guide site foremen and subcontractors on the correct installation methods and sequences for all architectural elements.
• Quality Control: Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Inspection Notices (SINs) for any substandard work or materials, ensuring prompt and satisfactory rectification.

2. Technical Submittals and Documentation

• Shop Drawings: Review, comment, and coordinate the preparation and submission of detailed architectural shop drawings by the contractor's technical office and specialized subcontractors.
• Material Approvals: Prepare and process Material Approval Requests (MARs), including technical data sheets, mock-ups, and samples, for submission to the Client/Consultant. Ensure procured materials match the approved samples/MARs.
• RFI Management: Address and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from the site team regarding architectural issues, coordinating with the Design/Technical office for technical resolution.

3. Coordination and Interface Management

• MEP Coordination: Proactively coordinate the architectural finishes with the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services, particularly concerning ceiling layouts, built-in features, and wall penetrations, to ensure effective clash resolution.
• Discipline Liaison: Liaise with Civil/Structural and MEP engineers on-site to resolve technical and sequencing conflicts that impact the architectural scope.
• Mock-ups: Manage the construction and approval of full-scale mock-ups for critical and complex architectural finishes to establish the benchmark quality.

4. Project Handover and Close-out

• Snagging & Handover: Lead the preparation of the pre-snagging and final snagging lists for architectural works. Manage the de-snagging process with subcontractors to ensure all defects are corrected before handover.
• As-Built Drawings: Oversee the preparation and verification of final as-built drawings to accurately reflect the constructed architectural elements.
• O&M Manuals: Assist in preparing and compiling the Architectural section of the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
