About the ClientOur client, a well-established bank in Dubai, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Testing professional to join their team.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute compliance monitoring and assurance testing programs to assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.Support the design and implementation of the annual compliance monitoring plan, ensuring coverage of key regulatory and operational risk areas.Perform testing of business activities, controls, and processes, documenting findings, root cause analysis, and recommendations for remediation.Track, follow up, and validate the closure of compliance-related issues, ensuring corrective actions are effective and sustainable.Assist in the preparation of periodic monitoring reports and dashboards for senior management and governance committees.Provide input to strengthen monitoring methodologies, testing frameworks, and risk assessment processes.Collaborate with business units and control functions to raise awareness of compliance obligations and promote a strong compliance culture.Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and other assurance reviews by providing testing results and related documentation.
Key Requirements

Professional compliance or audit certification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CIA, or equivalent) is preferred.3 5 years experience in compliance monitoring, testing, or internal audit within financial services.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance risk management, and control testing practices.Proven ability to analyse business processes, identify control weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.Excellent report-writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive remediation actions.Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
