The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer. The successful candidate will specialize in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technological tools in education, contributing to innovative teaching, research, and curriculum development aligned with contemporary educational practices.

General Description

The selected candidate will play a key role in enhancing teaching and learning through the effective integration of AI-driven tools, prompt engineering, digital platforms, and educational technologies. The faculty member is expected to support student-centered learning, promote digital literacy, and contribute to academic innovation within the department and the university.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses related to educational technology, AI in education, prompt engineering, and innovative teaching practices
• Integrate AI tools and digital technologies into teaching, assessment, and curriculum design
• Develop and update course materials in alignment with program learning outcomes
• Conduct research and publish in relevant academic journals (for Assistant/Associate Professor ranks)
• Participate in curriculum development and academic quality assurance activities
• Supervise student projects and support academic advising
• Contribute to departmental, college, and university committees
• Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

Remuneration and Benefits
