What You ll Do

* Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising the construction of the rail bridge and related works
* Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions for compliance with project requirements
* Maintain daily diaries, progress reports, and ensure proper documentation of works
* Monitor construction quality and verify compliance with specifications and safety procedures
* Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and surveyors to ensure progress and quality of works
* Oversee scheduling, resource application, and construction sequences for efficient project delivery
* Support preparation of weekly and monthly reports highlighting progress and issues
* Ensure correctness of as-built drawings and assist in the handover process to authorities
* Participate actively in site safety programs, ensuring project safety goals are achieved
* Provide technical guidance and issue site instructions in coordination with the Resident Engineer

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
* At least 15 years experience in design review and supervision of rail bridges, including foundations, piers, girders, spans, bearings, expansion joints, and marine works
* Strong background in bridge construction within metro rail or major infrastructure projects
* Ability to review laboratory test reports, material submissions, and ensure compliance with specifications
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with proven technical reporting skills
* Familiarity with construction sequences and industry-standard procedures
* Prior experience in metro rail projects preferred
* Consultancy experience within the UAE/GCC and work on viaduct or elevated bridge projects desirable
