AutoCAD Draftsman and Estimation Engineer– Aluminium Façade (High-Rise RICAF

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in Aluminium Façade Systems to join our technical team in Dubai.

This role is ideal for a professional with proven experience in high-rise façade projects, capable of producing accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordination details in line with consultant approvals and site requirements.

The ideal candidate understands curtain wall systems, unitized systems, stick systems, skylights, and complex façade geometries, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for aluminium façade systems

• Develop drawings for curtain wall, unitized façade, stick systems, skylights, louvers, and cladding systems

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and coordinate façade details accordingly

• Prepare material take-offs and assist in BOQ verification

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and production teams

• Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site conditions

• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards

• Support technical submittals and method statements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in aluminium façade drafting

• Strong experience in high-rise commercial or residential projects

• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; 3D is a plus)

• Solid knowledge of façade systems, aluminium profiles, glazing details, and structural connections

• Experience in curtain wall and unitized systems is essential

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Profile

• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region

• Knowledge of façade calculation principles is a plus

• Experience coordinating with consultants and main contractors

• Familiarity with fabrication processes

• Thermal break systems

• Glazing specifications
