Responsibilities
Design and build backend systems using C# / dot NET (ASP NET Core)
Define architecture for: listings and catalog, search and discovery, user/vendor systems, transaction workflows, checkout flow
Establish clear system boundaries and API design
Guide and review AI-generated code for correctness and maintainability
Identify edge cases, performance risks, and failure scenarios
Collaborate with frontend teams (React / Next.js / React Native)
Mentor engineers and maintain engineering standards
AI-Driven Development Environment
AI is used heavily for code generation and iteration
Your role is to: define guardrails and architecture, review and validate generated code, ensure systems remain scalable and maintainable
You are accountable for system quality, not just output speed

6–10+ years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in: C# / dot NET (ASP NET Core), API design (REST), relational databases (PostgreSQL / SQL Server)
Solid understanding of: system design and scalability, data consistency and concurrency, debugging and problem-solving
What We’re Looking For
Strong engineering fundamentals (non-negotiable)
Ability to reason about systems and trade-offs
Comfortable working with and critically evaluating AI-generated code
Ownership mindset — takes responsibility for system outcomes
Experience in ecommerce, marketplace, SaaS, or fintech systems
Nice to Have
Experience with: Redis (caching), Elasticsearch, messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ), Keycloak, Strapi, Elsa Workflows, Grafana, Prometheus monitoring
