Job Purpose

The Brand head leads and manages the sales team to achieve company sales targets and develop business strategies for market penetration. This role involves ensuring the effective use of sales tools, assisting in marketing plan development, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and liaising with the Country Brand Principal to align with the overall brand strategy. The Brand head also monitors market trends to maintain competitive pricing and conducts proposal presentations to maximize profit margins. This role also holds responsibility for managing brand-level financial performance, ensuring profitability targets are achieved.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the brand-level P&L, ensuring revenue, gross margin, and expense targets are met, and implementing corrective actions where necessary to achieve profitability objectives.

  • Lead and manage the sales team in achieving the company sales target and maintain effective communication of company strategy and objectives.

  • Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

  • Ensure each one of the team members is consistently using the company’s sales tools in order to capture, update and maintain all account-related information for effective sales management.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Conduct one-on-one review with the sales team to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement.

  • Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by being up to date with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply and demand.

  • Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain a maximum profit margin.

  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and request for proposal responses.

  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

  • Ensure that sales team meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closings.

  • Liaise with the Country Brand Principal to ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives.

  • Utilize the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool and follow the group sales process.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures the achievement of company sales goals and profitability.

  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve sales and market penetration objectives.

  • Manage the sales team budgets and ensure expenses stay within allocated limits, aligning with overall company financial goals.

  • Supervise and support sales team members, ensuring they have the resources, guidance, and training needed to achieve sales targets.

  • Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development within the sales team to enhance skills and performance.

  • Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up.

  • Conduct regular coaching for the sales team to build motivation and selling skills.

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Implement governance policies and procedures within the sales team to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Collect and analyze sales data to prepare detailed reports on team performance and market trends for senior management review.

  • Coordinate change management activities within the sales team, ensuring clear communication and seamless implementation of new strategies and processes.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct; ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and codes of conduct.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or sales role.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial position, preferably within the same industry.

Educational Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing is preferred but not required.

  • Professional certifications in marketing or sales (e.g., Certified Brand Manager, Professional Certified Marketer) are advantageous.

  • UAE Driver’s License is required.
