Major responsibilities

1 External Affairs Liaison: Responsible for the coordination, negotiation, and handling of the company's daily external affairs.

2 Government Liaison: Establish and maintain effective communication channels and relationships with relevant government agencies, industry associations, and media in Oman. Enhance the company's recognition and brand image at both the park and government levels, safeguard the company's interests, and create a favorable external environment for the company's development. Strengthen connections with the Sohar Industrial Park and various government functional departments, become familiar with government procedures related to responsible affairs, and ensure smooth information transmission.

3 Government Document Submission: Organize the application and operation of government-related projects to ensure the processing and successful acquisition of various company licenses and permits, supporting the advancement of government-related matters and ensuring the work schedule. For example, obtaining approvals for foreign labor quotas from the Ministry of Labor, and processing visas and long-term work permits.

4 Community Relations and Public Event Handling: Familiar with the local community where the company is located, assist the company in maintaining a friendly relationship and a good image with the local community, handle emergencies related to external issues, develop contingency plans, and conduct crisis communication and media response.

Qualifications

1 Bachelor's degree or higher.

2 2-3 years of experience working as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in a foreign company or extensive government relations re-sources in Oman.

3 Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations of local government departments, and the ability to apply them in work.

4 Skilled in organizing and managing resources, with strong communication and coordination abilities, and a spirit of teamwork; possess good professional ethics and a strong sense of confi-dentiality.

5 Strong sensitivity to policies, with the ability to collect and analyse policy information.

6 Possess a high level of business negotiation skills and tech-niques.

7 Proficient in Arabic and English for work, with excellent oral and writ-ten communication skills; bonus: ability to communicate in Chinese.
