We are looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and revenue growth in Tunisia for our client . The role requires a strong sales mindset with proven experience in building and scaling business within the agri commodities, fertilizers, or chemicals sector, along with a solid understanding of the Tunisian agricultural ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development efforts to establish and grow our client s presence across Tunisia

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, distribution networks, and channel partnerships

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including distributors, importers, cooperatives, and large farming enterprises

  • Develop and execute market entry and expansion strategies tailored to Tunisia

  • Drive revenue growth and consistently achieve sales targets

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and regulatory changes

  • Lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts with clients and partners

  • Work closely with internal teams (supply chain, logistics, finance) for effective execution

  • Provide regular updates on market intelligence, pipeline, and business performance

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in business development / sales within agri commodities, fertilizers, agrochemicals, or chemicals

  • Proven track record of developing or expanding business in Tunisia or the North African region

  • Strong network within the agricultural value chain including distributors, traders, and key industry players

  • Good understanding of Tunisia s import regulations, distribution landscape, and market dynamics

  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and closing large deals

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Self-driven with a strong sales approach

Preferred Profile

  • Experience working with multinational or regional players in agri-inputs or commodity trading

  • Understanding of key crops and farming practices in Tunisia

  • Fluency in French and Arabic is highly preferred
