Job Purpose:

To provide the highest standards of customer-oriented service along with a friendly approach to passengers and colleagues on board; in line with an outstanding surveillance to ship safety and maritime pollution prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and carry out the attendance and count of passengers. (Task as per Muster Roll)
• Assist passengers with their demands and ensure proper provision.
• Present onboard products and goods to passengers and contribute to the maximization of sales.
• Ensure proper service in the shops assigned to him/her.
• Ensure that all safety equipment in passenger areas is in good shape and positioned in the proper place.
• Arrange designated area(s) and preserve their cleanliness.
• Comply to ship safety and control standards.
• Receive goods and store them in designated shops.
• Ensure that prices and item codes posted on the shelves are accurate.
• Check that goods are in good shape for sale and examine accordingly their expiry dates.
• Control the stock wastage and minimize it as much as possible.
• Follow-up on any information/training given by his/her superior.
• Maintain an excellent relationship with colleagues.
