Job Summary

To perform carpentry tasks related to the construction, assembly, and installation of wooden and composite components for insulated panels. This role involves precise cutting, fitting, and finishing to ensure quality and durability, supporting the production of CGS Projects.

Key Responsibilities

Executive / Technical Duties

• Component Fabrication: Cut, shape, and prepare wood/composite materials using saws, routers, and carpentry tools per design specifications.
• Assembly and Fitting: Assemble and align components to ensure structural integrity and durability.
• Surface Preparation and Finishing: Sand, trim, and apply coatings to surfaces for smooth and professional finishes.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings and blueprints for accurate carpentry execution.
• Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace wooden components as needed to meet quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts for fit, finish, and structural reliability.
• Tool Maintenance: Clean, calibrate, and maintain carpentry equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and ensure correct tool handling.
• Documentation and Reporting: Log tasks, materials used, and update supervisors on progress and issues.

Skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Ability to perform physical labor, lift, stand, bend for extended periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
